The four founding families that own Quattuor Corporation—or simply Q, as we call it. It’s tradition for the heirs to grow up together to further strengthen the bonds between the shareholders.

However, that tradition was broken nine years ago when my father forced me out of my home town for reasons meant to conceal their dark legacy.

My childhood was stolen, my friends ripped away, leaving me drowning in anger and bitterness.

But now I’m back, enrolled at Virtus Academy—another Q legacy—where my past is forced into my present.

And not only that. My father has me engaged to one of the other heirs: Sade Asher Axton.

One thing’s for sure, though. The twelve-year-old boy I left behind is long gone, and in his place, this Sade makes my heart pound whenever I come close to the veil of darkness surrounding him.

Still, that’s not enough to make me want this marriage.

I want my freedom.

My path.

But Sade has other plans. He thinks he, too, can steal something from me: my future.

My name is Selena Rose Malgrem and if I’m going to crash and burn, I’ll make sure to drag him down with me.

*****
The Wolf and The Rose is the first installment in the Virtus Academy series, and although each book—including this one—can be read as a standalone, the following ones will have interconnected events. Therefore, for the sake of the bigger picture, some particular situations—not many—will be intentionally left unexplained or unfinished here, only to be picked up in the upcoming books.
There are no cliffhangers at the end of the book regarding the starring couple, and it ends in an HEA.
Intended for mature audience only. 18+
